Also an accomplished editor, Ryan's feature documentary, Bill Cunningham New York, enjoyed great critical and box office success, receiving nominations at the Independent Spirit Awards and the Gotham Awards in addition to being short-listed for the Oscars.
His editing credits include Spike Lee's Chi-Raq and Michael Jackson's Journey from Motown to Off the Wall, along with We Have Always Lived in the Castle, and the SyFy Network series Happy!
Currently, he resides in Brooklyn, New York, and is represented by UTA.

Third Star Films is a motion picture production company founded by writer/director/producer Ryan Denmark in 2007. A graduate of the University of New Mexico's Department of CInematic Arts, he has been developing his unique voice as a filmmaker since 1998.
Ryan premiered his first two feature films at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, with Romeo & Juliet vs. The Living Dead in 2009 and Chase the Slut in 2010. His third feature, Hell's Heart, premiered at the Hollywood Film Festival in 2016 and is available through Amazon and Vimeo on Demand.
His screenplay Flying Objects was a semi-finalist in the 2017 Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting competition.
